There are many ways to increase website traffic to get more targeted website traffic but I will give you a few basic methods that truly work. I will start by saying that I am not trying to sell you anything, well not yet but I will state a few tips and methods that are proven to work in the year 2010.

When I begin my search on topics to increase website traffic to get more targeted website traffic, I enjoying reading more new tips and methods of course as there are some strategies that I still come across today that are no longer effective. Add these keywords properly in your title, description meta tags, and continue to fully optimized all of your pages correctly and it will definitely help on increasing website traffic. This is the first step that should be considered and it really works or else why would I be here to offer it, lol. Without website optimization, all efforts in getting targeted website traffic from the search engines will be useless. If you want to increase website traffic to get more targeted website traffic, there’s no way to get natural organic traffic from the search engines without website optimization unless you go about doing alot of off-page methods.

Good Quality Content

After you have fully optimized your website, you should also work on generating good quality content on all of the pages that you have fully optimized. You will need to know how and where to add those targeted keywords in your content. Learning to write good quality content for your website is a must and if you do not know how to write content for your pages, you can also hire other content writers. It is best to learn how to write effective SEO copywriting because this is something that you are going to definitely need if you want to get more targeted website traffic in the long run. This is why almost every website has a blog because Google loves content and continuous updated content. So if you don’t know who to write, you might want to consider setting some cash to the side to hire a SEO copywriter who will continue to write for you as long as you want your website live on the World Wide Web. This can get expensive but it is a must. Just by saying that, you know that having good quality content is important.

Article Submissions

This again, means writing content in order to get it published in article directories. This is a traditional way to build links as well as getting more targeted traffic to your website. Write 500 word articles and include keywords in the title and thorough out the content of the copy. You can submit your articles to the top articles directories and include your link at the bottom of the article. This can build links and get traffic all together when submitting your articles to these directories. If you continue to do this, you can generate a lot of traffic.

Create a Link building strategy

You must have your link building strategy on point. Meaning, you must know how to build a great link building plan that you can stick to because having back links to your site is very important right now and just like writing continuous content, link building is an on going thing to do also. It is best to have good quality back links that point to your website from authority sites. Authority sites are sites that search engines like Google trust and they must be well relevant to your website with a nice high page rank. The more backlinks to your site the better as search engines use this to determine how well your website ranks.

Get Social and make friends

What I mean by getting social to make friends simply means to use the good old fashion method that is the most talked about right now and that’s social media. Everyone is getting social nowadays by building relationships and participating in social networking sites. If you haven’t done so already, create a profile and begin posting comments with links directed to your website on the main social net working sites like Facebook or Twitter. These two are just to name a few well known ones but social networking can be powerful in getting more targeted traffic to your site.

There is so many ways to increase website traffic and get more continuous targeted traffic to your site, but this is only the beginning.

Now remember, if you get your website fully optimized and I mean all pages with adding lots of good quality content with authority links pointing back to your website, you can increase your website traffic guaranteed!
